Hi
My Morso Badger is due to be fitted on Friday but my log store won't be ready for a few weeks yet. To fill the gap I was thinking of ordering some of these Argol heat logs. Anyone else on here used them? Any alternatives?

The logs will be fine until you get a store done, unless they covered in snow for week or being soaked daily by the rain for a few days they take no harm.

Thanks Drac, could be a few weeks and we *could* have snow and rain for all of it. I guess I could just put a tarp over them....

Yup that would be enough and stack on a palette if you have one.

They make hellish powdery ash and don't last very long.

There is another type of compressed log that has a chipboard texture. It burn longer and the ash is heavier and more like timber ash.

You get them from Brian and he arranges delivery all over the place.

My logstore hasn't made itself yet either. Unless the artificial logs are better in some way I wouldn't bother with them. Just store your logs off the ground (pallet as suggested or just lay out any old strips of timber/batton whatever) with a sheet over. Secure the sheet so it doesn't blow away and you are fine until you have a proper store.
