The Mrs has said that she fancies giving Ireland a break next year for our big holiday and we've always fancied Argentina so research is starting.
The vague initial plan would be to stay in BA for a week or so then we would like to travel a bit and if possible get that to coincide with some cycling - either road or mtb. Anyone got any companies they reccomend, places to visit. The only caveat(s) are a need to hire bikes out there and Mrs k is not a fan on slumming it so no coach transfers surrounded by goats and chickens.
Any advice gratefuly received (but a tenner says we'll spend the summer in SW Kerry! :-))
BA is great, frenetic like any big city, lots to see and do, but a week might be plenty. On the coast Mar del Platta (about 250 miles south-east of BA) is well worth visiting, especially if you like seafood. Going west of BA, Cordoba and the mountains are brilliant, its is where the World Rally Cars go. Very scenic, lots to see again. Food out there is really good, especially if you are a carnivore, they would serve steaks up for an individual, that we would carve for 5 for a sunday roast at home! I went in November and the temperature was just right, shame I had to fly back to a cold UK winter!
I'd love to go again, was there for 2 weeks and only touched the surface, would have helped if my Spanish was better!
