Son had a fairly big otb a GT a few weeks ago- didn't see exactly what happened as he was the other side of a big table when it happened but I did see his bike cartwheeling down the trail a coupla times. Anyway- bike seems OK but the bars took a bit of damage- can I take it these are gubbed and will need replaced? 20240507_15313820240507_153147

I wouldn’t be happy continuing to use those. Having witnessed what happens when carbon bars break- sudden failure and immediate loss of control- It would make me very nervous having my son riding with that damage.

Seems harsh, maybe just swap the handlebars?

@Cougar - 🤣🤣🤣

If they were on a bike for recreational purposes I would be happy to use them, but for racing, that’s a nope!
