"Infermo" and "El Paro" are 2 different things.
Infermo is reviewed by your own doctor and chargeable so it's normally the receptionist who prints out the form.
El Paro is for "up to" 2yrs or you can choose to take a lump payment to start your own business but don't expect anything else for another 2yrs.
What is good is that it must be earned - 3mths work = nothing, 6mths work = 2mths payments, 12mths = 3mths, over 2yrs = up to 2yrs payments BUT it is based on CONTINUAL employment - you can't "tot up".
About time it was introduced here....... You don't work - you don't earn the right to unemployment benefit.
