I have three spirit levels, all good quality Stabila - 2000mm, 1000mm and 600mm. They have had a lot of use over the years but always been looked after. In my recent garden wall building efforts I kept having problems keeping the levels “just right”. I have noticed the fluid has faded and the bubbles separate into smaller bubbles more readily. Is this a thing? Do bubbles wear out, and if so where can I get them replaced?
Now I’ve got some recuperation ahead I’ve got the time to research if necessary.
Suggestions and advice very welcome.
Yep, you need a replacement spirit level bubble.
Stabie levels do go funny my 1800 one is clear now but it makes no difference apart from my eyes struggle.
Ive always found stabie levels to be less forgiving mine have a greater distance between the lines than other levels I have so you have to rely on the convex of the glass
Thought stabila had a lifetime warranty? May be worth reaching out to them with some pics and see what they say?
