Need a new car stereo, only use it for playing music from my phone (so aux/bluetooth). A branded stereo is around £50, but ebay/amazon have some unbranded ones for £15-£20.
Has anybody had one and have any experience of the cheaper ones?
Thanks

Main issue is they'll have puny amplifiers built in, so will sound awful if you turn it up a bit.

I'd be looking to spend about a hundred for something reasonable.

I'd hazard a £20 Bluetooth speaker would sound equally horrendous.

If the op values sound quality at all he's gonna have to stump up a bit more cash.
Bear in mind a car isn't a quiet listening environment, you have road noise and engine noise to contend with, so something that sounds acceptable on your bed side table is going to have to work a lot harder in a car.

I have a JVC car stereo you can have. CD player is temperamental but has aux input, maybe Bluetooth too. If you are interested send me an email and i will have a look for you.

Thanks

I bought a no-name Bluetooth stereo for £19.99 from eBay to go in the caravan. It's ace. It's paired with some bog standard JVC 5.25" components and it will go way louder than I'd be comfortable listening to.
