want a small compressor for the van. mainly just for re-inflating my poxy tubeless tyres prior to a ride (no matter what anyone says i'm convinced that the tyres deflate over the course of a week/fortnight and will always need a top up prior to a ride regardless of how much wheel shaking, sealant etc.).

obvioulsy being able to infalte a small dingy for days out on the river would be good, too.

anyone have a 12v compressor they would recommend?

cheers.

I have a Airman Tour which is very good

There are some superb ones at silly prices but the Airman cuts a good compromise IMO

This is the one I've got... http://www.gizoo.co.uk/Products/DigitalTyreCompressor.htm

You can get it under different brands at different prices but they all seem to be the same. It feels like cheap junk but it inflates faster than other ones I've used and has lasted pretty well. Digital cutout is nice too so you don't need to watch it.

Using a low volume high pressure compressor to inflate a dinghy will be a total waste of time. You will be there for hours!! and possibly fry the motor. A high volume low pressure pump would be better. and vice versa for the tyre.

The last 12 volt tyre pump I used lasted 12 top ups before disintegrating. A Track pump is better but presume you need some instant oomph for tubeless.

Dinghy inflators here - http://www.force4.co.uk/department/inflatables-tenders/pumps-inflators.html

Costco do a Goodyear one which is great quality.
Can blow up a van tyre in a few minutes.
