Wife currently has an iPhone 4s, yes bit retro I know
Has iPad which is new in last year
WAnts new phone and was thinking of switching to android.
Main thing is the photos she has stored. Obviously they just sync between the phone and iPad at moment, how would this work with an android phone?
Google photos works brilliantly.
All her current photos could be uploaded to Google and they will show on the new phone.

I believe it took over from Picasa a while back.
The app can be configured to upload new pics as well as 'store' X amount of recent pics.
I use onedrive which does the same thing and if you are already paying for an Office 365 subscription then you will have 1 TB of storage available.
