I subscribed apple music last week, blown away by it on the PC, downloaded albums I never thought I'd be able to. Now I want to listen to them on my phone.
How the hell do you do it without wifi? If I use my mobile data will it all disappear when I download songs? And is iTunes match worth the money? Will that help me listen to music on the go?
Open My Music click My Music on the bottom on an album a track clock the 3 dots and select available offline.
If you stream it will use your data when not on wifi.
In the Music app on your iPhone you need to look for the icon of a cloud with an arrow coming out of it. This will let you download albums or individual songs to your phone. Anything which is downloaded will have a little icon of a phone with a tick on it. These won't use data when you play them.
Right that worked in my simple head zilog, cheers.
So if I upgrade to iTunes match now and download songs to my phone from that will I be able to have all my music available to my phone without using all my data?
iTunes Match lets you have whatever music you already own available across all devices you log in on.
You still have to download it to those devices.
I'm bloody hopeless at this.
