I've had an Apple mouse for several years, it did occasionally need a blow in the sensor to get it working again. However now, it stopped picking up movements gradually over the space of about 5 minutes no matter what I did - the usual blowing or a wipe with a damp cotton wool bud etc. It looks spotless in there. It still scrolls and clicks.
Any other users had this? Anything I can try?
The cure for a sick mouse is new mouse
Make sure nobody has stuck a bit of sellotape over the sensor. Thats an old favourite that one 😀
I thought this was going to be about the fact that the Magic Mouse is the worst mouse ever.
I'm a Mac convert. The wireless Magic Keyboard great but just cannot get on with their mouse at all. The shape is all wrong and the tracking speed far too slow, even at max speed
It is an awful mouse yes. But I like the swipe gestures on the top. Also, work will buy me a new one so thanks @jondoh but I have no need.
I don't call 'several years' good, when it's £80 to begin with.
it's on the banks of a creek, near Colorado Springs Airport
Okay - if anyone else wants it, let me know. I’ve dug it out already, happy to bung it in a bag and post it.
I hate the mouse, the Magic Trackpad on the other hand. Well worth the exorbitant pricing...
