Our old Netgear router was forever dropping out and not connecting when a laptop or tablet fired up so changed it for a Belkin. This is perfect for my wifes and my laptops, my tablet and kindle, wifes and sons phones and the printer. However my sons Toshiba (same as wifes) connects every time but regularly drops off for a few seconds every few minutes. Sometimes it lasts as long as you want it too but not very often! All settings are identical to the wifes, IT guy from work has tried it on his network and it was fine after some updates. Brought it home and fine for about 2 hours but no good next day. Anybody got any ideas please?

Sounds like it may be the laptop not the router. Which was it theIT guy tried elsewhere?

Yeah was the laptop. Was showing a fault with wireless card until updates installed. May try new card.
