Right, i have a formula =IF(L2="","",L2+30) that i want to use to fill down the page so as the next cell would show, =IF(L3="","",L3+30) and so on, any ideas i assume its siple if you know how.
Thanks
highlight the cell with original formula and drag it down. Or highlight the column from original formula cell to where you need to go down to and press CTRL+D.
Does it not do that automatically if you drag down?
just use standard copy and paste, it adjusts the references automatically.
As above it will do it automatically if you drag the bottom right hand corner of the cell down.
Just watch there are no $ signs round any of the cell references as this will lock that part of the formula to the specified cell.
Thanks , whippersnapper and others .
now how do i get it to turn red once its 30 days old?
no to worry ive done it, thanks computer wizards!
