I bought an A70 camera for my wife to use while swimming, and the battery life seems to be around 15 minutes. Is this par for the course or do I have a duff batch? I charge them in the camera not in a separate battery dock, does that make a difference?

I know you get what you pay for, but at the moment it's pretty much unusable.

Cheers!

My Apeman A70 will last a couple of days at least, probably recording on and off for a total of 30 minutes a day, being turned on and off constantly and playing back the footage at the end of the day. I'd suggest yours may be faulty but odd if it is both batteries in the set. Maybe it's the camera?

Thanks, that's much more what I would have expected. Time to ask for a replacement I reckon!

Yeah, mines only really been tested by the kids in the pool on holiday but I've no complaints on battery life

I've just purchased a separate charger ( plus 2 extra batteries) and this method seems to help a with battery life.

How is everyone getting on with picture quality, particularly video? I have to say so far i'm less than impressed. Low light stuff (indoors) is noisy and shows lots of missing pixels, and the exterior footage is very jumpy. I have a good quality fast card installed, so its not that, but viewing through iMovie has left me disappointed so far.
