Mine went pop seemingly last month. Got a replacement and wired it in the same as the old one and it still doesn't work. Can anyone troubleshoot if I supply a pic?

Nope zippidy doo da. All it does is give me a slight buzz if I touch the probe cables...

If you've got 220volts ac between terminals 1 & 2 but its not lighting up then the units defective.

Looking at the first picture, your thermocouple looks like its connected wrong (9&10) should be 8&9
Which could mean other connections are wrong - did you write down where the wires went on the old one?

Crap Chinese kettle cable. Replacing that kicked it into life. Now it's not heating the plate.

I took a different set of photos. Looks the same to me
Nothing in 10

Fixed it. Well I just wired the old one back up. Cheers snaps
