Sorry if its bindun but I can't see a thread. However I am really enjoying it - yet again its great to see so much good drama coming out of the BBC after the fun and games of Bodyguard.

And I have absolutely no idea how its going to pan out.

Saw the first one. And found it.. ok. I've Sky+ed so will probably watch the next and see how it is. Just not finding the actual subject matter that engaging really. Very well acted though.

"Trust", the John Paul Getty thing is great, talking of BBC dramas.

I was told that ep1 would likely drag a bit, ep2 definitely seemed a lot better with a very good ending

The mum's mum or the dad's mum?

Didn't get past episode 1 myself, just irritating drivel.

Hmmmmmm, watched both and can't say it's holding my attention. My wife thinks it's the daughter.

Not my cup of tea. Not even Jenna Coleman can entice me to watch any more.

I don't like dramas that rely on a fragmented time line in the absence of a decent story to engage the viewer. It may be that ultimately the story line is good but I don't want to sit through deliberately ambiguous whodunnit clues, people with wide-eyed stares and trembling mouths, until something unravels.

Also I hate the subject matter - too improbable to make me anxious, but too real for suspension of disbelief.

until something unravels.

It's already unravelled

Ditto the Jenna Coleman comment though

My wife thinks it’s the daughter.

we already know whodunnit (is there a chance i've walked in to the missus watch ep3?)

Trust was excellent, the young guy who played JP Getty the third was a show stealer.

He died in the end.

We don't though - we only know up to the part of the storyline they have shown so far - it may go beyond what we have seen and find out more. I did enjoy the end of episode two but called it about five seconds before the reveal much to my own surprise 🙂

Feeling smug here , I called the twist at the end of e2 as she was walking back to the car after the “break”.

Just watched the first two episodes, first one did my head in with the flash backs. Second one was better - I'd sussed a couple of the 'twists' so far.

Be interesting to see how it plays out.
