Interesting stuff, but quite a lot of them are coming across as unpleasant individuals. Max and Bernie were always going to be awful, but I’m surprised at how some of the others are.
At least Keanu is likable.
Smiling assassins.
I've not watched it yet but it's on the mental list of stuff to plough through at some point
I'd imagine that F1 attracts a super-ego-driven male personality, drivers and money men and team bosses alike; Bernie Ecclestone is probably understated in that telly prog of how much a **** he is in truth, I woudn't trust him one little bit.
ICYMI Ecclestone got done for fraud, 17 month suspended sentence, £652m to HM Revenue and Customs, ordered to pay prosecution costs of £74,000.
Nasty shit.

As they say, never meet your heroes. There have been a few drivers who I think might be fun to hang out with away from the track, Kimi Raikkonen and Danny Ric, for example, but the best I can say for most F1 people is that I respect them for their accomplishments but would never want to actually spend time with them.
I thought most of the Brawn people came across quite well.
Button & Barichello were nice. I liked Jenson's back story too.
The rival team principals were shits. Especially Montezomolo & Briatore (who didn't deign to appear). At least Horner was polite & erudite.
It's funny how they didn't protest about the double diffusers used by Toyota & Williams. Only the Brawn one. Because Brawn was kicking their ass!
Bernie was Bernie. The side-show hustler turned megalomaniac. Drunk on his own power and conveniently failing to remember anything that might incriminate himself.
Reeves was the perfect conduit to get all these people to talk. His stardom mixed with a fan's innocence was a great formula.
TV gold.
Montezomolo, bitter much? I mean seriously let it go.
I liked it though, brings back memories of my personal F1 heyday. Going to races, brits on the up, small teams kicking butt...(ok so they had a massive budget to actually design the car).
I think Keanu was an inspired choice for the reasons just above. I also like the fact that he is in real life somewhere between Neo and Ted so hasn't disappointed in that regard either.
