Up to episode 4 and I'm struggling to be honest.

The kids on the bus, well they can stay there to be honest, 2 dimensional and annoying... and I'm ok with watching yoof based stuff normally.

Shall I trudge on? I'm a big SF fan, particularly of the apocalyptic genre but finding this series a real struggle.

Where are the aliens ffs for a start?!

I watched it till the end of the series, looking back I’m not sure why I bothered?.

Just finished episode 4 and I spent more time browsing on here than watching the tv to be honest.

I think I'll pass on the rest of it.

A couple of episodes or so to set the story up, sure but it just feels like it's not going anywhere.

Highly annoying characters leaving you always wishing the cameraman would just walk off and film something/someone else.

It seems really hard for these producers to produce good scifi. But then, I guess they have viewer figures to consider so have to "appeal" to a wider audience.

I thought it promised a lot more than it delivered but was OK overall. There are some good scenes but yeah mostly under-whelming and I agree the whole kids in the quarry thing was garbage.

I received a free Apple TV subscription with my new computer so I've given it a whirl. I thought Invasion was terrible and gave up pretty quickly due to the most unsympathetic bunch of characters imaginable. They were all awful and annoying and I wanted them to die (except perhaps the Japanese space scientists, they were OK and I hope they found their colleague).

I've got one episode to go. Also got a free apple subscription for 6 months so just trying to watch all their sci-fi then I'll bin it.

Foundation was OK.
Invasion is OK, but also spend a lot of phone time whilst watching it.

Still to watch See, finch and For all mankind. Maybe severance. But generally underwhelmed by the choice.

Edit... Foundation was probably a bit better than OK. I loved some aspects of it like the genetic dynasty stuff.

^^ Have to say, I bloody love For All Mankind. Really, very, very good.

It's all I signed up for really but perhaps it set the bar to high after watching it?

Severance looks interesting, I'll give that a try I think.

I'm done with Invasion though.😐

Foundation... I've never read, embarrassing I know. I will one day and until then I won't watch the series.lol

I thought Foundation was really good, For All Mankind is good to but there are some slow episodes you need to persevere through

bit of a thread hijack but Ted Lasso is really really good. That kind of show wouldn't usually interest me at all. But I gave it a go. I think there's some good stuff on the platform beyond for all mankind!

also the MI5 show
