Yes, and 99% sure that they were spoofs.

As an Essex resident, found it interesting, but Meades is Soooooo annoying!

Good to see they showed some nice Essex spots too

I confess, I struggled but stayed with it.

More about architechure and social experiments than about Essex.

Propably could have been "set" anywhere.

Spoof FM got boring and massively belittled that elitist chap's sense of reverse elitism.

If the above sounds like I'm blowing out my ar5e... wait til you watch the program

It was nice to see the summer though, roll on the spring and getting back out on the road bike for some country lane, pretending your racing the Tour in the flats of northern France, fun.

Architecture is what Meades does. He's hard work but rewarding.

I like his programmes although it helps to have a thesaurus handy.
His one last year on France was excellent.

I personally found it another quality piece of work by Meades!

JM is my favourite deconstructionalist commentator ("Nature. Whatever that is..." 😆 )

I've followed his TV expositions avidly ever since I saw him commenting on vertigo (which he suffers from) whilst crawling along a Bishopsgate building ledge overlooking Tower Bridge. Brilliant.

My favourites were "Planet Golf", "Belgium" and "Holidaying in the North of Europe"...

I won't watch it as it may dispel some of my sniffy but ill-informed prejudices

And then where would I be?

Meades is what we pay for on the BBC!!. Utterly brilliant narrator and very clever at syncing juxtapositions on Humans affect on itself.

Avid watcher too, have been and always will be.

“is in awe”

"Nature. Whatever that is..."

Yeah I like that one ... but then I guess I didn't need the
thesaurus for that one 😆

The thing I struggled with was that his sound bites came so thick and fast I couldnt take them all in... (bearing in mind most would have still gone over my head)... I sat there thinking, I could do with the script here.

Binners ... the second on the left come to look around my house (as a buyer) earlier in the week.... Without sounding a like a Kn0b, maybe she ain't that silly if she can afford it at 22 years of age !! 🙄
