just wondering whether using one of these units would be likely to extend the time i can go out cycling before the pain arrives. i have fairly mild arthritis in both knees and sometimes it's OK but other times flares up and the return ride on a 30 mile loop is no fun.
your advice/experiences please
thanks
Bill
I used one some years ago for back pain it's more of a distraction than a cure
While there's no doubt the little electric shocks disguise the pain as soon as it's switched off the discomfort returns
only thing that ever worked for my ankle arthritis was a shed load of ibuprofen and paracetamol, and a tube of ibuleive rubbed in prior to riding.
2 cortisone injections failed. physio failed. I was offered a tens machine which I declined.
