Anyone used Sleepio or Sleepstation?

Has anyone used the Sleepio app or Sleepstation?

I have been having problems sleeping and I was a breaking point as it was really starting to take its toll on both the body and mind.

I have done quite a lot of research and most of the things I have been doing will not work or in some cases I have been doing the wrong thing, making things worse.

Just interested to see if anyone has used the above sleeping programs. I am using the 'Sleep Restriction' technique, its brutal but I think I am starting to see some positive results.

I used Sleepstation about 2 years ago, absolute gamechanger. Keep at it and you will get there. I found after a while I'd begin to wake just before my alarm every day, almost like clockwork.

No matter how groggy you feel it will get better 🙂

I think Sleepio is currently funded for all NHS England patients - so "free" for self referral? Sleepstation was patchy on NHS last time I checked but offered a subsidised rate of around £300 for NHS patients. Happy to be corrected/updated.

I often recommend Sleep Restriction/Compression along with a book called “Set It And Forget It”.

Thanks, that's just what I need to hear!  I am nearly at the end of the second week, a sleep window of 12am to 5am.  The getting up at 5am is quite easy for me, the 12am is very difficult.  I have seen some positive signs that its working, but my god do I feel shit!

I read “Set it and forget it” after Kramer recommended it. Found it very useful. The author touches on sleep windows.

No, but I had a meeting with the Sleepstation peeps a few years ago when we were looking to partner with them.

Looking over the product and content, it seemed very good.

IIRC they stressed that it all comes down to getting people to realise that it's the fear of not being able to sleep that stops them from being able to sleep, if that makes sense.

Are you finding you're worrying about life stuff, and that's keeping your mind whirring?
