I have a steep driveway down from the road to my house which transitions to a flat car port. The departure/arrival angle between the slope and the flat is sufficiently steep that the nose of my car rubs on it, meaning I can't use the car port at the moment. I want to make the transition a bit more gradual, and was thinking of using cold lay tarmac (like this https://www.wickes.co.uk/Tarmac-Instant-Lay-Macadam---Major-Bag/p/220017) to do that. The ramp itself will be about 7ft wide, and 1ft deep, maximum height about 4-5 inches.
Has anyone used this stuff, and is it up to a job like this? It seems to be used more for filling small potholes, and I'd rather not have it breaking up and being useless after 6 months!

If you just lay it on top of what's there it'll rip up in no time you'd have to dig out what's already there and lay on the Sub-base, for the width of your ramp. Thats likely to be quite a few bags of coldlay
I would use ready mix concrete, company you order it from will work out what volume/type you need.
Simple wooden shuttering frame to pour into and tamp down and your done.

I used Coldplay on my drive kerb. The transition from road to kerb had a very abrupt dip and then a steep dropped kerb. Wasn't doing my suspension any good. I laid a couple of bags of Coldplay and then rolled with my garden roller. Sealed with a spray can. Still going after a couple of years.
It is only about 4 inches deep probably. 1 foot wide, 10ft wide ish

The usual depth is 25 mm
With concrete and it being steep, look into the right technique to do it so it doesn't end up shifting downslope and cracking while drying.
I like the idea of laying down Coldplay as a drive!
Wooden bearers to shallow the angle.
Chemfix them in place
Or trailer ramps, possibly backed with scaffold boards, again drilling 3in into the slab and chemfx in a stud
