I vaguely remember my pet petrolhead raving about this lot a while back. I could be wrong, I'll ask.

Yup, very good imo but depends on who the local fitter is.

Yeah they're pretty popular, last time I phoned one of their 'approved' garages to check after seeing the price on the web site and the garage knocked a few more quid off.

also check out http://www.mytyres.co.uk/ - used both to get the best price.

camskill can be as cheap
as can mytyres
Cougar: Any preference / recommendation?
I've not used camskill...
I have used the other two
last time I used...

blackcircles
fitting place was a bodyshop that built hearses
fascinating place
tbh, between them and mytyres
use whoever is cheapest

Used them before,no issues, if you buy via topcashback then you will save a little bit more. Last time Kwik fit matched the price

Don't use anyone else now, especially since the local Kwikfit place managed to score both alloys they were putting the tyres on to. The local Blackcircles fitters are just so much more pleasant to deal with than Kwikfit etc, who use semi trained monkeys with no social skills IME

Used blackcircles last year to get some cheapo tyres to get my car through its MOT before i sold it.
Good service, esp as one of the fitting monkeys managed to tear the sidewall when fitting it! They (Blackcircles) replaced the tyre quickly and with minimal fuss.
Good communications and a good price too!

Used them a few times - 3 full sets on a Mondeo before i moved jobs, sold the car and began commuting by bike. Really jolly good in my dealings with them, and the fitting garage was only 2 miles away, ordered in the week and fitted Saturday mornings.......can't fault them really.

Used them in the past no complaints. Although I found HiQ to be cheaper this time around.

They're certainly not cheap for bike tyres, though, and no fitting

www.camskill.co.uk tend to be the cheapest but you have to arrange your own fitting...so factor in about £7 - £10 a corner for fitting and balancing at your local back street tyre place.

I always find e-tyres to be excellent.

I use Blackcircles, I'm sure I could go cheaper getting tyres from Camskill and finding my own fitter but I like the convenience of the one-stop shop, it's not that much of a saving.

If you're anywhere near Wolvohampton - then there is a little tyre place called Martini Tyres and they are actually even cheaper fitted than blackcircles / camskils etc. I dont know where they steal them from but by god they are cheap!

I've used them a couple of times, but the last time I bought tyres I found that etyres were cheaper, and came to the house to fit them

Don't rule out Ebay either...there's a lot of local sellers on there selling tyres at very competitive prices fitted.

Camskill are good if you can find someone to fit them cheap.

Mytyres fluctuate daily s their prices shift with the european market.

Pneus online can be cheap too but never used them.

Wouldn't use a normal real world place for tyres any more. Mytyres sorted me out for my winter tyres, blackcricles got me my energy savers for almost half the price of Kwik Fit.

As one of the other posters, I looked up the tyres and chose a fitter on blackcircles, I phoned the garage before completing the booking and they immediately said don't bother, they'll do them for the same price (and make a bit on selling the tyres themselves).

Yes, used them, and it was fine. But as other posters say, if you find an independent garage they'll probably do it for the same price.

Yes, they were dreadful. All comes down to who they have fitting the tyres in your location I suppose but I wouldn't use them again.

You get a choice of garages in your area for fitting, usually. All blackcircles do is mail order tyres delivered to a garage (or you if you prefer). Any problems with service other than the delivery of the tyre is not their fault.

Also try event tyres and / or e-tyres . Order what you want and some fella turns up in bag van and does it on your drive way.

Best online price I could find for tyres was £70 each with fitting. Found out Malvern Tyres were my local fitter, rung them and they sold them me for £51 each! Turns out they were doing a special on Uniroyal tyres, so give them a ring if you fancy Uniroyals.

Thank you for that tip.

I need 4 new tyres and I ordered them this afternoon and I also picked up 1256 Tesco points as well 🙂

Of course it is. You place the order with Blackcircles and fitting's part of what you're paying for. The fitters are from their list.

I contacted my local fitter about a price for 2 tyres. Went onto Blackcircles and bought the same tyres and got them fitted at the place I originally contacted for less than the fitters wanted. No complaints here.

pain in the ass.

The glasgow Fitter based in Hillington had no cone adapter to balance van tyre. Ended up with a 50 mile trip to another blackcircles fitter. Then 30 minutes of phone calls and persausion that it WILL be done at no cost to me.

The hillington place inspired no confidence and looked like a fire waiting to happen. I doubt he is still in business.

Complicated, but will be needing them in Cardiff around Easter 🙂

Or actually I might want Nokian H, they look cool and my Nokian WR G2s have been absolutely amazingly good so I might want to continue to give them my business.

Sorry mate, would be struggling then - a lad I know has a mobile supply/fit business in Derbyshire, but as far as I know doesn't ship them out.
