We are just a generation early with our daughters iPad to get the Apple Pencil and we thought about an alternative as she likes to sketch.
The Wacom sketch seems to be the best alternative but before dropping £60 on one, wondered if anyone used anything similar or had any experiences or recommendations?
Ta
I prefer a real pencil.
However,
But I would like to know also of recomended stylus out there.
Anyone, used a DeVinci brush ?
I may have got this wrong but doesn't it have to be a 6th generation ipad for it to work?

the Apple Pencil, works with particular generations of iPad only. There are plenty of other styluses that with function with a touch screen - just without the sophistication / integration of the apple one.
If its not an iPad that will work with apple's own pencil then I'd probably look at styluses that are linked to a corresponding drawing app - as its the app and the stylus talking to each other that matters. With Apples own pencil being 'native' any app will work well with it, but third party styluses may only work well (or at their best) in their own app.
At their most basic a stylus will just be a rubber point that is a smaller version of your finger tip. But if a stylus is interacting with an app it can respond to pressure/speed and also have a degree of 'palm rejection' - the screen ignoring your hand touching the screen when you're holding the stylus.
Apart from any of the more subtle capacities like pressure sensing its that palm rejection that really matters - and matters that it works well- otherwise you can't maintain a natural hand position as you draw
With any third party stylus you won't have the fine detail / precision that the Apple Pencil is capable of as its the screen sensors rather than the stylus that doing a lot of that work
Can I buy a pencil compatible with a Huawei Mediapad T3?
Ah right.
I use an ipad and apple pencil for note taking and it works brilliantly together as most apple stuff does.
The Apple Pencil is superb
