We've got a 'The Gym' opening soon, within walking distance. It says it's open 24/7. What's the supervision like ?

Also, seems unfeasibly cheap. Are they OK ?

If you're going to open somewhere called "The gym" at least make it a pub.

"Just going to the gym for a few hours darling"
"Going to the gym for a session after work" etc etc 😉

After my inital (massively hilarious) Post, I looked into this a joined the one in Cardiff. Signed up got email with the code and was in the gym half an hour after finding their website!

13.99 a month and £20 joining fee with no contract.

I am a bit of an insomniac so being able to go to the gym late at night suits me perfectly and there is enough free weights to keep me going for a while, only one squat rack though. Seems like a great idea so far.

No supervision at all at the times I go, just put in your pin number stand in an airlock pod thing and it let's you in.

I use a 24/7 megagym and it's a really good idea.

Only £16 a month and loads of kit to play with. It's normally dead quiet on Saturday or Sunday nights.

I think if you pay a bit more (£20?) then you can use all their gym locations (inc. central London). One near me and work colleagues rate it.

I joined 'The Gym' as one opened up near the office. £10.99 for the first year the £15.99 thereafter for life. There's no supervision, the times I go there's always personal trainers around but I wouldn't expect any to be there in the middle of the night.

It's a gym with lots of cardio machines and enough weight machines for my needs. It's clean, but basic, suits my needs as I just want a gym to workout, not hang out and drink latte.

Been for the 2nd time tonight, was a lot busier (still not very busy though) going before 10pm. Still had the squat/power rack to myself again all the others using the free-weights were just using dumbbells looking at themselves in the mirror.

One guy spent litteraly the whole hour I was there doing nothing but bicep curls with the same weight 😯
