They have an English language web site. The answer should be there or an email address to contact and ask.
He does seem pretty keen on not reselling

3. The event ticket will IMMEDIATELY BECOME INVALID if resold OR OFFERED FOR SALE unless the sale is through our official face-value resale partner.
When he was in Cardiff they were hot on rejecting resold/ not in holders name tickets, butas these tickets aren't getting used, here's a letter confirming the rejection of entry with resold ticket present that to the reseller for a refund, ( not sure how that'll work when not in there name) and queue over there for tickets at face value to replace these ones.
They've been very clear about not accepting resold tickets above face value being a rip off.
That's a few from the Cardiff gigs other places may not be as firm.
Its unlikey youll have any problems.
Rejecting fans who have already been mugged off once is not a good move for the artists as it just creates a backlash from genuine fans who are at the turnstyles.
Venues and ticketing company staff dont want the hassle either.
If it is a friend at work and they are concerned they can take a copy of Id / card
otherwise are they getting ids from everyone entering the venue?
last one I went to we bought the tickets from a reseller and they didn’t have our names and had no issues. I guess it depends on the name and what you look like too...

Ignore that advice, as a regular gig goer to large and small venues I can assure you that it does happen. I've seen several folk turned away recently. It can be only a good thing in my book.
Yep there was a BBC article on it, they were cancelling the tickets but allowing you to buy a replacement at the original price Then claim back from the reseller. Great idea

Depends on the venue and artist, I’ve had to show ID at some gigs, the first major one was Kate Bush, and they were very strict on it. It’s gathering momentum in the UK, as people get more and more pissed off about the likes of Getmein.com hoovering up prime tickets then flogging them off at extortionate prices minutes after they sold out, but it may not be so much of an issue abroad.

Im not giving advice wrightyson.. this is just fact. I work in the industry from time to time in the box office for my OH whos been a box office manager for nearly twenty years.
The people scanning tickets are looking for one thing and thats a green light.
And why do you think turning away genuine fans is a good thing?? It does nothing to tackle the problem of ticket touting. Its less than a drop on the ocean.
Artists that decide to go down this route learn quickly.. its just bad craic to ruin peoples fun.
Like i said im not giving advice.. you might slip on a banana pell tmrw. You probably wont though.
These are the most likely sceanarios where someone would get denied entry...
No1 turn up pissed.
No2 be rude pr aggressive to member of staff
No3 your ticket that you bought on a reselling site has been duplicated and has already been scanned.
Not having a matching name is way down the list.
Tell us more about all the gigs you regularly attend wrighty ya big trendy 😀
Having not bee to a gig in a while where I have not bought from a random on the street outside the venue... if you buy 4 tickets do they each have your name on or are they individually assigned? Honestly curious
seems like a massive ball ache for staff on the door when 10000 people all want to get in...
Hey crack on, ignore genuine advice. I've seen it in action at the o2 academy in Brum and Sheff, motorpoint in Notts and the first time I saw it was randomly at the velodrome in derby.
Be seeing you at ynot this weekend dirkpumpa? 🤟

Youd have to pay me some serious coin to watch franz ferdinand wrightyson.. jaysus christ 🙈
"In February 2017 tickets for Ed's charity gig for the Teenage Cancer Trust were being offered for sale on resale site Viagogo for up to £5,000.
Ticket reform campaigners Fan Fair Alliance accused the company of "moral repugnance"."
It's not morally repugnant to me - it's taking advantage of the current bloody stupid willingness of people to throw away heaps of money on crap. Wish I could find a way to do that. I'd definitely sleep ok at nights.
