I need a new sim only deal and they seem to be the cheapest.
Good, bad, same as EE as they use EE's network?
What are peoples experiences?
I had a sim only plan for a couple of months with them.
The signal was pretty poor in my area even though it said it was 'excellent' on their coverage map.
3G was also very slow for some reason, now gone to EE.
yorkshire89 - So you had better signal with EE than Life. That is interesting as they are meant to be on the same network so I assumed signal would be identical.
I thought the same when I got my contract.
I may be wrong, but I think piggyback providers don't get full 3G speed, or it may be limited at certain times.
Generally speaking MVNOs are offered the same service as the host MNO's retail customers receive. In practice MVNOs don't have any meaningful way to test this (because they don't own the radio network and often don't own the core network either).
Remember also that you need to factor in device behaviour as well.
