Just wondered if anyone used any apps or training programs (trainingpeaks sort of things) for running at all? I've followed plans from books before but I tend to pick up injuries and most likely from trying a bit too hard too early so I was wondering if anything existed that could spot that or give a better idea of pace using data from previous runs.  There are lots of plans i can download for garmin connect but they appear to just be electronic versions of the same thing in books and books have the advantage that they often contain great background info. on what you are trying to achieve.  What I was hoping for was something that would tailor itself to my crapness
edit: I should add that I don't aspire to any form of greatness. I'm just looking at something that will help me keep getting better and spot when I'm pushing harder than I should
