Not used the stove for a while but seeing as it's a cool, wet and miserable day I've just lit ours for a cosy night in front of the telly box as MrsSB is going out.
Seeing as I've also only got about 100L of heating oil left I can put off buying some more!

Yup - still not using oil and not enough sun for the solar thermal yet.

Its been two weeks since I fired mine up.

Been busy making some of these though:

not even close to our champ. mcmoonter wood store building skills, but I am quite pleased with them, designed to fold flat to save space when empty 😉

Neat solution. If it were me I'd push them together and fill the inverted trianglular space in the middle too.

EDIT I didnt see the plant.

I have sold two sets to neighbours so far, little cottage industry going on at my home at the moment, might just pay for the new chainsaw I bought 😉

Yup on here too just lit it before, it's our only source of heat and we have 2 young kids. It only gets lit in the evening tough.

Yes. Turned off the heating a month ago, now freezing. Would be worse without the log burner.

Ours is still on too, it's our only heating and my family are a bunch of wusses!

Me I'd not have it on now as I'm a fat bugger who doesnt feel the cold 😉
