Thinking of selling my old motor at the car auction instead of autotrader or part ex. Anyone got any experience of this? Any advice on fees and reserves etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

DON'T!
Ebay is much better for cars.

IMHO

Bought a few at auction, because the prices are low. I can see why the motor trade use them - offload unsuitable part ex stock quickly and easily with near zero buyer comeback.

No idea why a private seller would. You are already free from worries about buyer complaints.

As above, stick it on ebay. The auctions are a place to buy cheap cars so not good for selling.

Had a shite old car, utterly borked, almost accepted £150 from a scrappy, stuck it on ebay with an honest description and got £500

If you need to actually ride a bike to be on here then the place will empty 🙂

The advantage of selling it through auction is that we have a network of over 16,000 trade buyers looking for stock on a daily basis.
Sounds better than the 14,000,000 on ebay (plus international buyers), but thank-you for your spam 🙂 🙂
