can't seem to find anyone online that's doing 0% deals on sale bikes, anyone seen anywhere that can ease the pain of paying for a 2011 discounted road bike?

All Terrain Cycles do 36 months interest free, can't see any sale bikes though

Specialized concept stores will do 0% interest for 24 months on sale bikes - but it does depend on how much the bike is already discounted.

The general feel I got when I spoke to them a few weeks back was that it would not be a problem on a 2011 bikes, only older stuff they are desperately trying to clear. Dependent on a minimum amount borrowed, say £750 minimum?

With 0% finance the shop can be charged up to 17%, based on the Moneyway (Ride it away) finance co. that we use in our shop

The longer the term & greater the value of the loan the higher the charge for the retailer, so very few offer it on sale items.

It may be 0% to you but thats because the bikeshop pays it!So they are unlikely to give 30% discount on the bike plus another 12-13% to pay for the finance. You can't have your discounted cake and eat it in bitesize mouthfuls over 36 months (to mix my metaphors)

17% !!!!. That is a lot.

I often by Art on interest free credit so it doesn't feel like I am really spending money. (e.g 50% down and 50% over just 6 months). The shop told me they were being charged 8% which even I thought was high.
