Heading North? I'm sure it was a Provost going over Boroughbridge. Anyone else see a straight winged single engined jet today?

Saw two together on Tuesday over liverpool. Know that's not what you mean but unusual for round here.

My old maths teacher used to wear a Martin baker tie, turned out he earned it being ejected from a Jet Provost.

Is that tenuous enough to the OP's thread?

Nope, but I met Lady Provost. Not sure which one, I think there may be a few.

I sometimes see one flying over the N Wales coast. Nice to see one.

I just want to see a Phantom and an F111 now.

Also saw the one at Bournemouth recently.

Have been lucky enough to have had a few flights in the JP. Most notably but also sadly with the guy who went onto be commander of the ill fated Challenger space shuttle mission.
