Generally I aim to keep my mac bill gates free but I'm liking the look of IE9 on the adverts that are running at present.

Presuming because it's only a browser it will have a mac version, anyone running it?

I've never liked chrome, safari's starting to get a little non responsive at times.

Whats wrong with Bill Gates? He is one of histories biggest philanthropists.

...anyway, as far as I am aware IE9 is Windows only.

I use Chrome myself, but to be honest, there is not a great deal of difference between Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Just comes down to personal preference for stuff like omnibox, certain extensions etc.

IIRC there's been no OS X version of IE since IE5. Can't see that changing.

Jamie nothing wrong with Bill Gates just his products. I've had my mac three years now and with the exception of upgrading it to newer software I've done zip all to it. My life before that on his products was spent waiting for re-boots, re-formats, malware removal and the like. I avoid microsoft products as much as possible.

each to their own though, that said IE9 does look nice and wouldn't rule out looking at windows again in the future

IE9 is not available for Mac, the last version of IE on the mac was 5.5 and bore no relation to its windows cousin.
