I'm looking for a good Financial Adviser based around West Yorkshire. Anyone have any good recommendations rather than someone just out to sell products and take the commission.

We used the financial adviser at the HSBC in Bradford. Not the adviser who only recommends HSBC products but the one who covers all the market.
Fourth financial adviser we have had after one man independant types and so far easily the best. Not cheap as i think its around £250 an hour the last time i looked.

check unbiased.co.uk

oh and, since RDR, IFAs are not paid comission, it is now upfront charge, to make the whole thing more transparent.

Is this mortgage based? Currently speaking to someone based in Wetherby (on a recommendation) who has been very good so far.
