Any owners of Startrac spinning bikes?
I'm interested in how reliable they are & cost of general consumable parts, great looking spinning bike but blooming expensive.
Have hired one in the past - my favourite spinning bike I've used out of a reasonable variety from being a member of various gyms. I didn't have to do any maintenance, but a friend of mine used do that as his job - he reckons that most spin bike are really easy to maintain.
I think the main thing is just to keep on top of it and don't sweat on it. I'd be looking for 2nd hand cos of the new price, but they *will* have been sweated on and poss a bit corroded. Could be worth popping in to a local gym/leisure centre to see if they're changing their stock as many of they seem to get new ones regularly.

Just found a UK web site Jeez the parts are expensive even normal bearing I can get from any SKF / FAG stockiest are ridiculously expensive, I'll shop around
