Looking for a dirt-cheap estate that I don't have to care about but is still 'reliable'.

Anyone own one or know of one for sale????????

I don't want to go down the old Toyota route 8)

Yes I do, but then you knew that already.

I'm still torn between putting back on't road and selling the van but the van's just very convenient.

Uber reliable and mine's the 1.8 VTi so has twin-cam and LSD and goes like a train if you want it to.

I reckon it'll need £500 spending to go back on road ...new suspension bushes, 1 new wheel bearing, 2 tyres, maybe some discs and pads.

I was looking at an Accord Aerodeck last week on Autotrader, FHSH, good condition and MOT'd for £600. A bargain and within reason just won't let you down.

That could be a great driveway/garage project. I've got a driveway with lots of space on it...... 😉

What I couldn't fix I'd drive the car 400m's up the road to my indie

Had one about 4 years ago.
Loved the flat floor.
Hated the light pedals and wowful power (125bhp 1.6)

Not as nice as the Accord Saloon I'd came from.

YGM. I had a Peugeot 306 sat on the drive for over two years covered in three green moss. Not started once, borrowed a battery charger and bingo - it started and ran first time. 😆
