... of the music the HMRC play whilst you are spending 2 hours on hold waiting to speak to an incompetent fool to get an answer to a very simple but seemingly impossible to answer question regarding tax self assessment?
I'd like to know so that I can find the person behind it and then (insert violent action) him/her.
Many thanks

Not sure, but when you finally get through be prepared to speak to someone who will throw a load of Inland Revenue jargon at you that you may well not understand. And then when you politely ask if they could explain what they mean in laymans terms, they will repeat exactly what they said the first time round with a massive dose of impatience thrown in.
When I finally got through they sounded rather inconvenienced by me trying to pay my bill.
I hate to differ but last time I spoke with someone at HMRC they were helpful, clear and polite.
