You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've had an interview today and they've invited me back on Monday at 10am for second interview. I came into the equation quite late in the process and because I worked for their main competitor up until a month ago they are very keen and are on the verge of offering me a position.
Now, they have asked me to do a ten minute presentation on the benefits of KNX in a hotel environment. It's more about my presentation skills than knowledge of KNX as such but I don't feel I can do it justice without decent knowledge.
I've googled it so have a basic handle on it but wandered if anyone works with it and what it does for them/you.
cheers
Mick
If they've said it's about your presentation skills, I'd focus on that. Honestly and seriously. People are (generally) very crap at giving presentions.
cheers Don, I'm aware of that and concur! They want someone to do CPD presentations and I think that even if I fluff the presentation I'd still get the job because I took a lot of business off them in my previous role so they know I can do the job, I think they just want to see if I can do a little bit more than the others in the equation
Fair enough, but a quick look at the interweb has found enough info for a 20min+ presentation.
My warning is not to be over confident with your presentation, 1 idea, 3 sections, 4 slides, no bullet points etc, you know the stuff.
Good luck.
woo hoo, got the job!! They gave me 10/10 for the presentation 😛
Congrats...
