I have a been given the responsibility of selling a rather large amount of Mexican silver, jewellery to be precise. Anyone know how to get rid of it in a way that generates as much money possible?

Go to a silversmith or goldsmith. They will buy it at the market value of the metal, and reuse it for new jewellery. My mate is a goldsmith working in Corsham, and they have people bring old pieces in that are no longer wanted, sometimes for turning into a new piece for themselves, sometimes as a gift for someone else, or else just for the money.
