I am not, but there's a table of middle aged couples opposite me on my mid ride cafe stop, and one of them could not look more hungover if he tried.

He was persuaded to try some sort of healthy bright green shake, which looked unwise, and he's now staring at a plate of American pancakes with bacon amd maple syrup and questioning his recent life choices.....

Surprisingly not, despite 4 pints of Deuchars yesterday evening, well beyond my recent (or indeed usual) intake.

Nope, but my son is.  Went to Ultimate Street Car on Thursday, at the 'rave' on Friday, massive hangover saturdy, so missed all the activities, then got taken to hospital about 8pm. He's a type one, and being sick all day couldn't keep food down so keytones high - in DKA, so he's been on at least 4 IV Drips. Hopefully be let out today as he's a three hour drive away, his car and tents are in a field at Santa Pod, and his mate can't drive. And he's missed most of the event.

No, given that I was drinking at a wedding for 12 hours yesterday I’ll take that as result.

To be fair I placed myself

No, for only about the 3rd time of my life I stayed in and didn't drink, on a Saturday night! A combination of bad weather and being knackered from my Zwift workout I went to bed early. Back to normal next week.

No but feel like it. Made a stir-fry for lunch with some red Thai paste, that's been in the fridge a while, on Friday. Felt awful on Saturday morning, sweats, brown arse piss, fever, weak and feeble.

Checked the date, bbe 2016. Still feel a bit delicate now.

Out in Lancaster....  woke up with a thirst and heart burn.

One bottle of purdys and a brew felt like a new man.

How i dodged one still isn't clear

Son finally home after about 16 hours on a number of IV drips. Knows he's been stupid and missed two days of the event with DKA

I am still hungover! Was our local agricultural show yesterday and being the chairman and a very wet and windy day I found it extremely stressful. Up until the point we ended up in the beer tent! The beer tent owners left us at 9 with orders to empty the barrels which had already been tapped. Tough job but someone had to do it. Walked a mile  home across the fields at 12.30 to bed and up today at 8 to go back to clear up the whole show field. Been in a stupor all day. Started mowing a field for silage this afternoon and had to give up after an hour as was falling a sleep! Sat here now with a wooly head pondering those last 3 large JD and cokes before the bar owners left and we moved on to beer!
