Interested to see what people here think of this one since I've already seen the reaction on various car forums.
Do you 'get it' or hate it?

it's a kit car, effectively - I neither get it nor hate it but I wouldn't have spent my money on it
Rat look E-Type BMW reshell.
I quite like the look of it but it's no more an e-type than WCA's bmw rebody is a Maserati.
I love it. But its not an E Type to me.
Well it's unique.
A boss of mine back in the 70s has a salmon pink V12 which was gorgeous.
Hats off to the team that did it as there's been a lot of work go into that.
Do I like it, not sure. Is it an E-type, its more E-Type than that Eagle that Top Gear drove as at least its an original shell.
Its certainly different and bold and is bound to get people talking where ever it goes.
The custom scene is a very individual thing and where as some people are happy to follow trends its nice to see something different.
The E type , for me they are one of very few cars that i like better as a coupe than a soft top ,it looks better with a roof . That one is interesting ? I like the rat look but most folk do not get it .

Interesting, most people are the other way round. The angle that the windscreen meets the bonnet just isn't "right", though it is less pronounced on the rag top.
As for the car featured, it's a hideous waste of perfectly good car parts.
It's fashion, and who wants to be fashionable when one could simply be stylish?
Love it ,looks like a bag of poo .My son who recycles things for art projects would like it not from an engineering point but from an artistic point .No it`s not an E type as said before its a kit car from recycled bits ,I do love the rat look though !
Enzo Ferrari thought the E-Type was the most beautiful car in the world. He might have had second thoughts if he'd seen that one. Nice engineering though.
The guy that did it is pretty good on a bike too. For those that know BMX - Mike Hill Great Ayton local.
Love seeing other people's ones but would never want one - or anything old really as I like cars to work with minimal effort/expense. So I like nice cars but want to own relatively boring ones.

I'm sure Malocolm Sayer was flattered 😉
Not keen on the rat look - for me it works on certain motorbikes and old american cars/pick-ups but not much else. Certainly not on a classic sports car. On second thoughts, I have an MGB GT rusting away on the drive....... 💡
my dad used to restore e types as a hobby. he picked me up from school in them sometimes.
it was an inner city comp. even the headmaster came out for a look.
Indifferent to it tbh.
I don't like etypes they just look a bit shit.
Some far far prettier cars out there.
as for ratlook... a genuinely old car can be quite cool but all the extra copper and stuff.... meh.

So what?
The Eagle E-Types are totally hand-built from the ground up, to the specifications of the original cars, and that includes the engine, with an alloy block instead of iron.
They're about as close to an original E-Type as you'll ever get apart from one built by Jaguar.
Having what's left of a shell and bonnet doesn't make it any 'more authentic' as its a frankenmotor, and ugly as sin.
Horrid thing, I'd be ashamed to be seen driving a travesty like that.
I think you'll find that pretty much all Eagle E-Types are original cars, brought up to date, the Low-Drag is a special, built to Jaguar's original specs:

should have left it in the field rotting.
I've never liked E-Types - they just sit on their wheels really badly. The C and D types were much better looking cars and when they sit so well I can't understand how the same people made the E-Type sits so badly . The E-Type looks like the body belongs on another chassis.
Now the XJ13 - thats another story
I don't like 2+2s to start with.
And I like them better looking as though they have been driven but in good nick.
I went out with a girl who learned to drive in a her mums V12, her dad
wasn't having her drive his roller;-) It didn't seem at all special
driving round in a rag top e type.
