In needof a new watch well a watch as sold my auto vintage Montine and a Ti Skagen a while ago.
I never have contemplated spending more than £80 on a watch before, therefore why are these so called designer watches so pricey?
Is it down to image and brand factor or are there quality aspects that come into play.
GEVRIL watches I am looking at.
These watches here? , there’s certainly a watch for every occasion but not for me, they appear to be a fashion statement piece with no identity
Yeah those and yeah as I concluded.
Looks like a brand that of Donald Trump would like and bond with mind.
Timex.
Nothing wrong with Timex.
Good gob, those prices! I'm so glad I've got a phone.
Jewelry masquerading as a watch. 🤷♂️
If it is any consolation, I were interested in the Five Points model at £1900 off in sale.
At a shocking £650 lol
That reminds me, a bore at work keeps shouting about his £400+ fake Rolex. Next time he mentions it I'm going to tell him I prefer the looks of my Garmin Instinct. That'll teach him.
Those sportpursuit prices are a bit nippy for anyone that bought full price!
Awful made-up company with hotchpotch designs you can see are stolen straight from other brands and combined badly. For that money, get a Mondaine or a Skagen 😉
Or a Hamilton, I'd get one of their field autos if I wanted to drop £500 ish on an automatic watch.

Think that nails it on the head. Typical discount brand, there's no way they ever sell at full price.
Never heard of them. Wouldn't buy from them.
Seiko 5, or something from
Orient for that money, maybe a touch more. Proper watches from proper watch companies.
Head to Creation Watches and fill your boots
Elliot Brown!!
Christ those Gevril watches are really overpriced tat! £5000-odd for a chronograph with an ETA movement?
Here’s a Heimdallr SKX007 ‘homage’ with a fully lumed face, with MM33 style hands and a Seiko NH36 auto movement for $159. I’ve got two Heimdallr’s, one of which I’m wearing at this moment, and is my everyday watch; it’s a Tuna homage, although it’s had a new movement, and a limited edition MM300 face and hands, with a filly lumed ceramic bezel insert. I think I paid about £150 for it, and I’ll take it over any of those Gevril watches any day of the week! Bloody hell, you could buy a Tudor for that sort of money!

Each to their own, and not having a pop, but I don't understand the vast majority of your post
Automatic Tuna opening capabilities cheaper and more efficient than a Tudor king.

The city of Dundee would disagree with this statement. Never worn a Timex and never will.

Because mugs.
I quite like the look of several of the Torgoen models. Linky
No idea if they’re any good or not. I just wear a Garmin Fenix all the time so no motivation to look any deeper than “ooh that’s pretty”
