I happened to hear a story about David Bowie playing a concert in Germany in the 70s, and the story of the song being played. Pretty sure it was on Radio 4 within the last week. But for the life of me I can't remember which show it was on. And so cant re-listen.
Did anyone else happen to catch it and remember what show it was on?

Yep, tried that. The trouble was is was only a short segment within a program, so not mentioned in any of the schedule info. And for the life of me, I can't remember where i was when i heard it, so can't even narrow down the day/time etc.
No idea I'm afraid but I've recently got into the Stalking Time for the Moon Boys podcast and am really enjoying it. It covers all sorts of Bowie minutiae.
