Anyone got any experience setting up some sort of cabins or glamping chalets? Looking a new house purchase with some land (6 acres woodland and fields) which could be perfect to set up 4 or 5 holiday lets. Would go with nice wooden chalets with en-suite and little kitchenettes all in their own little settings. Few minutes by car/bike to the beach, right next to a major bridleway route and nice pub, PO, cafe, farm shop etc all a few minutes walk.
I am not underestimating the cost to set up but wondering what else I have not considered and how to approach the planning issue and how it would be taxed? I currently have a Ltd company (engineering consultancy) I am not using and we have a farming smallholding which is on the cusp of going past being a small holding.
