You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just got one. Mrs Zip loves it but I find it way too soft with my torso sinking in , with heads and legs pointing to the ceiling.
I manage 90 minutes before I wake up and head to the spare room.
Do you get used to them, can I firm my side up (wooden bed frame) and how easy is the return? I can’t imagine getting it back into its box.
Is disapoints..
opened thread expecting Emma's..
aren't these 100 day test jobbies, usually picked up as is, cause there no way you have a vaccum machine to pack them down again
from there website:
Free return

If your Emma turns out not to suit you for any reason feel free to return it. Simply email us and we will come and collect it at no cost.

If you want to try a firm mattress, try an Eve next. That said we've not slept badly since getting it.
Yep I’ve got an Emma mattress, it is quite soft but I bought an ikea bed frame at the same time and the slats are adjustable so on my side I’ve made it as firm as possible and it’s very comfortable.
Hi
I had one, and like you, found it too soft, so much so it gave me a bad back. Phoned them up after 10 days to return and they said they'd send me a topper to firm it up, which was a piece of foam to insert into it. It did firm it up slightly, although by then the damage was done and i eventually returned it within the 100 days at no cost, so they are true to their word on that guarantee. Not going to get another memory foam as they also cause me to overheat - going for an Ikea pocket sprung next. Mattresses are obviously a personal decision!
mat
We have one. It replaced a 15yo pocket sprung mattress. Mrs K thinks its uber comfortable, i can't tell the difference.
We tried a memory foam mattress, to be honest they are mostly the same.
It’s now in our spare room and we have a sprung divan and mattress with pillow top to replace it.
Never having a memory foam one again!
But then I wouldn't go back to a normally sprung mattress, love memory foam, & I would disagree that they are all the same... just like bikes are all the same...
Just brought a simba one. Same idea as tbe emma.
Firm with some give ie not too soft.
Maybe try that if you want a firmer one?
I bought an ex display mattress from John Lewis.
Firm on one side, medium on the other.
Good if you're heavier than your bedfriend
We've been through a load of these online mattress companies and ended up sticking with an Emma. Assuming you have the current one, the bed base itself makes a huge difference to how it feels. I thought it was way, way too soft when it was on a sprung slatted base (the ikea ones). I ended up covering the slats with 12mm mdf and now it's the comfiest mattress I've tried.
For comparison, we tried Eve, Otto, Simba, and even the old style Emma. Otto was the worst. The new Emma original has been the best.
Dunno bout Emma but whoever this Louise is I need one of her Mattresses.
I read the title as enema mattress. Opened to find out what the hell one was.
Surely any mattress that's delivered rolled up will be on the soft side? I like mine as firm as they come.
