Ordered road pedals online, dispatched thursday 1st class recorded and still not appeared. Contacted seller for tracking number (only shows up where it is when an attempt to deliver has been made and item back at delivery office) and nothing coming up when put it into royal mail website.
Their position is that it has been sent and won't act until it gets to 10 days (on day 4 now) which is 5 days before royal mail would act. That seems fair enough but when I finally got through to a human at royal mail they checked the number and said that it doesn't look like it's been posted? Also noticed they have zero stock of them now, makes me wonder if that may play a part.
I sent something 1st class recorded on Friday and looking online it's been delivered. Not sure what to do, just wait and see if they appear? Heading off in 10 days and had wanted to use these a few times before left. I know I'm being bit impatient but if haven't even attempted delivery so far I don't have great deal of faith they'll ever appear. Tempted to order from another retailer and send back these ones should they ever arrive (i'd have to cover postage myself which is annoying)
I'm guessing someone at stw will have better idea how this works, if not attempted a delivery in this timeframe how likely is it that they'll arrive?
(btw my lbs don't stock these pedals)
