Sis is going to get me one for xmas. But I've to pick it, do some research etc so where best to ask...
I only need the basic thing. To do chips, roast meats and that type of thing.
Can you do a pizza in one ?.
The only question is what size do you need ?
Familly of 3 here with a son who eats like a horse and we are glad we got the large one
My parents got the large one and wish they had got the smalll one
You could do pizza in them no problem, if it fits the drawers. Won't on ours. 2 drawer one is handy for doing 2 different things at once.
As well as frying in air there are models that do pressure cooking, slow cooking, and other stuff. Of course they’re more costly and there’s more to go wrong.
Pizza isn't very good as it cooks the to quickly but not the base.
Ok for reheating yesterday's pizza though.
We've got a £43 6.3L jobby from Costco with digital controls..... It's great for two of us.

But then the drawers are smaller.
Yeah I had one of the basic Ninja ones, worked OK - the basket would be too small for pizza though unless you mean a mini one or cutting it into slices first. Ended up giving it to a relative though (who seems happy with it). For me ultimately air frying didn't really seem to offer anything different than using the oven, sure it was a bit cheaper maybe (but I don't use the oven much anyway) and it is a bit quicker but usually involves having to be more involved, e.g. for oven chips I never even used to bother flipping them but with an air fryer the top layer will burn unless you shake the basket every 5 minutes. OK, hardly much effort but there's times I'd rather go and watch TV whilst food cooks rather than having to keep playing with it.
We've got one of the 15 in 1 things and whilst it cooks very well - roast potatoes and beef roast together is great - it is a bit of a pain just having one cooking compartment.
The two drawer fryers I would imagine make more general sense but I'd be concerned with the capacity if cooking for more than 2.
All in all I'd say they are a good buy and will mean you use the main cooker less.
Just remember to clean it often if frying or it goes manky very quickly.

True. Each one is big enough for chips for 4 people though. Oven would have to be used for anything big.
Both our offspring have a cheap Tower £70 one basket one. Works great for them. Can do 'small' pizza's in there and they seem to come out okay (we use tortilla as a base).
We ended up getting the sage mini oven one having been so impressed with the cheap tower ones. Barely use the cooker anymore for just 2 of us. But anyway Phillips/Tower/etc all seem to do decent sized on drawer ones for less than £100.
Lidls had an air fryer for £20 the other day. Was tempted, but I've already got one 🙂
Everything I've cooked in mine has been great. Except a croissant, that didn't work. 😀

@dyna-ti we’ve just had toad in the hole cooked in our two compartment Ninja, (in one compartment) used a fraction of the energy consumption of the oven.
