We've a yale lock on the new house, with kids/teens/neighbours/family that come and go..
I'm looking to swap teh Yale lock for a digital one..
I know they can be wifi or zigby..ideally one that opens with a phone would be great (mix of android and apple here)..
Any ones to go for or avoid?

One that's acceptable to your insurers. Lock Picking Lawyer has reviewed loads that are rubbish.
The alternative is a key box - these are acceptable to most insurers, I've got one bolted to the back of the house.
Call me a bluff old traditionalist, but what about getting some more keys cut, and giving them to the kids/teens/neighbours/family?
NFC can be duplicated at little cost - there's zero chance I'd trust the security of my house to an NFC chip!
A "Yale lock" being a back-of-door tumbler? What sort of door is it?
In the absence of other information I'm kinda leaning towards what IHN said, TBH. There's any number of shit options here, we'd need a better description to give good advice.
Yeah, I'm assuming Euro-cylinder & multipoint lock though as that's pretty standard I think?
It's a complete minefield. Loads of options now, pros & cons for each.
On my (external) garage I've got a Nuki which is a retrofit onto the existing lock (I did have to change the cylinder though but on the whole very simple) It's been pretty good on the whole. Best thing is it doesn't change the look of the door from the front, and you can still use your key as per usual. I see someone has just released an all-in-one version using the same tech now, which I would definitely look into in more detail if/when I get around to changing our house front door to a smart lock:

There are definitely advantages to (decent!) smart locks, very much depends on the individual situation though and whether the main benefit is convenience/security/etc.Call me a bluff old traditionalist, but what about getting some more keys cut, and giving them to the kids/teens/neighbours/family?
Next door neightbour has this one: https://yalehome.co.uk/keyless-connected-polished-brass-with-yale-access-module-and-yale-connect-wifi-bridge/

Been on their door for several years and seems to work fine...
If it's a Eurocylinder have a look at the Bold Smart Lock
I installed it for a business premises and it works well. App for IOS and Android.
Dont do it. Phones run out. Get a secure keybox and a camera doorbell. Had this setup a few years and works well for a late teen boy stoatin in from nightclub in the early hours. No more forgotten / lost keys. though to be fair we have a porch and can double lock doors.
We had a Yale Keyless fitted to my Mother in Law's, operable by a remote like a car or by a PIN, it was really good. We wanted one for ours, but that type are discontinued and they only do phone operated now. I'm not trusting the house security to a phone, and I don't want to take my phone with me if I go for a run or whatever (I can remember a PIN). So ended up back with traditional metal key.
