Anyone familiar with Atorn dial gauges?

Ordered a device with a Mitutoyo plunge gauge (10mm analogue 2046A) but delivery is slow. Been offered an Atorn as an alternative but know nothing about them as a brand and can't find much.

As there's usually at least one expert in the room for every random topic, I thought I'd ask here.

Think they are (or were) UK made.

Quality may not be Mitutoyo level but still should be decent. Don't they have the rotating spigot on them?

No need for a rotating spigot on this one. It's being mounted to a plate so that the workpiece always sits in the same spot.

They are good quality, have a couple of theirs in the shop.

Could you ask for the equivalent

That's the thing, I'm just trying to work out if it is equivalent. I can find Mitutoyo details on line but can't really find info on Atorn.
