Well, two tins of San Miguel and a box of mini supermarket flapjacks is hardly going mental, but the combination of a good workday and this glorious weather gave me a Friday feeling and I couldn't resist. Basking in the afterglow now, listening to Lo Moon.

Work thing, boozing until 2am last night, followed by another full day work thing in a hot hotel conference room. Damn you free bar.

I’m a shift worker, so just finished the two days stint, not back in until tomorrow night, so a lie in in the morning.

Hot, crap day at work today. I’m on my second pint of home brew, elderflower golden ale, and a I’m now wolfing down garlic and ginger chicken curry with the works. I’ve been in the house 30 minutes.

I’ve got a thirst on!

Normally work twelve hour night shifts but for June working the day shift. Main reason, so I can sit outside the pub in the evening sun and have a couple of pints of ale, mission accomplished 🍻 first one didn't touch the sides.

Yeah, this evening is filling the recycle bin to a greater extent than most Tuesdays. Nice ride earlier and a couple of audio things to celebrate. So why not?

Really fancied a drink when I got home from work, had a dog walk followed by an orange squash - pushing the boat out!

Should have walked the dog to the pub. It’s what dogs were invented for.

Currently washing down a particularly large fly from my ride with a glass of white. Might need another glass, I can still feel the fly.

Chips and a saveloy from the kebab shop, eaten off my lap as I drove home from Don Skene's bike shop after dropping off Mrs A's bike to be serviced. All gone by the time I reached the M4.

In the middle of one - All that Glitters from Pentrich Brewery followed by large glass of gewurtz; wild boar ragu with jersey royals and asparagus accompanied by a bottle of cairanne.
Next; hic...
Memo to self - two full water bottles at side of bed tonight; don't forget to drink them...

Couple of beers tonight but I did lose the weekend to work when some idiot did something they shouldnt and I had to help undo the mess. So decided this sort of counted as Friday night chill session.

Not a blow out as such but a few pints on our regular Tuesday night ride last night. The Tuesday ride normally avoids the pub but it was hot and we were all thirsty!

She's a sometimes reactive douchebag and I get IBS from beer (quite a pairing), so we didn't stop off at the local, it's not a great pub anyway so I'm usually happy to skip it.

I really fancied a beer last night, but Mrs P had booked me as a taxi to drop her and a mate out for cocktails so I had an orange squash and played the drums for a couple of hours instead.

Don’t think I can resist tonight though.

Making the most of this working days malarky, went to the local with my sister, four pints of the local ale and a burger and I'm well happy with life.

I can still feel the fly.

Wine won't work. What you need is a spider...
