looked at my pp account and found a few things i'd bought several months ago where still sitting in my account with payment pending. Not complaining but what's going on here ?

Yep got this from a sale last week. Pay pal reserving payment for 21 days for a few reasons (not been an active seller in past 12 months and/ or sold xxxx amount of stuff recently).
Kind of sucks, and they take 3%..
